If it is golf you are in to - then play 18 holes at the local golf course - 15 mins drive. If it's skiing - then the resort is only 1.5 hours drive. Very cheap with great skiing and facilities.
There is something for everyone - Nerja´s Old Town is a 5 minute walk with its traditional tapas bars, restaurants of all cuisines, and the famous Balcon de Europa with its views of the rugged coastline. Live Flamenco shows can be seen and there is a Cultural Centre with films in many languages, concerts and various lectures.
