Vélez will have a new Hipercor
by spring 2003 El Corte Inglés has come to an agreement to purchase
two basement areas of the building, Reyes Católicos, in Juan Barranquero
Street. It will cover an area of some 3.000 m2 and will cost 4.800.000 euros.
It will also offer some 100 parking spaces which will help to solve the parking
problems in the old historic part of Velez . It is hoped that the new shop will
help to revive the commerical centre of the town in face of the competition
from the nearby shopping centre, El Ingenio. |
